This show is a 3-year project of beginning again after a decades-long journey doing other work— a return to photography. My intent was to get back in the habit of seeing photographically, the resulting images are ambiguous, intuitive—a contemplation. Getting to know a digital camera and inkjet printing so it's second nature, has been challenging and rewarding.

These images of wrecked cars were taken 40 years ago in and around New York City. These stolen, burnt and stripped vehicles were all over the streets of the city and in the outer borough fields. These were shot with a medium format film camera, back when film was all there was.
